SystemPal App Reviews

Nice app for keep tabs easily on your system resources. One thing that I wish it had was assignable keyboard shortcuts for the various screen shot tools so you could take a screen shot with a keyboard combination. I love being able to take screen shots to the clipboard, but just would be nice to have a keyboard shortcut for it! Awesome app though!

Pal tells you a lot about your Mac - at a glance. For example, I like to know what the temp is when the fan kicks in. Also, the memory usage of each open app lets me operate at peak efficiency in critical situations, e.g. while in a large spreadsheet or photo edit app; I then know I can pick up speed if ‘x’ shows it’s hogging the memory, etc. I don’t know any reason not to like it - it’s on all my Macs as a given!

Ever since the latest OS update my mac has been sloooowwww, RAM basically pinned as soon as I do so much as launch a browser. And in this new OS update they got rid of the "purge" command for freeing up RAM. This app takes care of it for you, and can be set to do it automatically as soon as the available RAM drops below a certain point. Sometimes freezes up the computer for a few seconds while it does its thing, but never crashes it. Easily worth ths small price they ask for the app.

This program sits nicely in the top bar of your mac. It gives a lot of helpful information at a glance. If I were to change one thing, that would be the option to make it go away when you click out of the menu when you are in the popup in the non-hover-over mode. Thanks for the great app!

I didn’t expect much from this small tool, but it’s turned into a real keeper. Much thought has gone into producing an application that sits unobtrusively in the menu bar but presents a substantial amount of useful information when needed. I find it particularly useful for quickly checking on memory and network usage.

Nice App loaded with features. I have not yet needed the memory cleaner and haven’t tried the screen shot capture. . . all other features have proven to run properly. Quickly available but unobtrusive.

A good app

This app is quite good for Mac Air. A lot of information is listed in this app. What I can say is good! recommend this app to install.

It’s awesome to have all these details like cpu temp and memory usage all in one place, just a click away at all times, no need to open up applications or anything. Haven’t had any problems with it yet. Great app!

This app is wonderful. It does exactly what it says it does without any problems or fuss whatsoever. If you need to keep track of your system stats, I highly recommend this app.

The dashbaord view is great & shows exactly what I want to see. My only complaint is that the UI sometimes gets in a wierd state where it won’t open, either on mouseover or click, and other drop-downs from the status bar get wierdly shifted away from their icons.

Makes other apps faster and more responsive. Not every program relinquishes control of memory but SystemPal keeps clearing space as I switch among many programs at same time

Works.

Does what it ought. Can’t ask for much more. Sweet.

This app gives me all the info I need in a tiny unobstrusive package. The screenshot feature is key for work. I no longer have to memorize Apple’s crazy keytroke combinations for taking a screenshot. This app is a no-brainer at the $1.99 price. Bye bye iStat.

SystemPal has become an indespensible app on all my machines. I like having access to system information in the menu bar and the RAM sweeper is incredibly handy. I highly recommend this app.

Useful Tool for Checking System Information

I use it to keep an eye on my Mac’s CPU temps. If you need an app for that type of functionality, I’d suggest using this app.

Very nice and clean application for monitoring temperatures, memory usage, cpu usage, network usage and even read/write speeds.

A great little tool for monitoring your system. Easy to use, inobtrusive and tells you everything you need to know. It’s $2 well spent. Everyone should have this on their Mac.

Must have

This is so useful. This is the app I use the longest among all apps purchased.

System Pal

I love the easy functionality and its fast and easy ram release .

I use this a lot when on FCP X. Even with 32 gigs of ram, I like to be able to see exactly what is using which resources and when. This alerts me when my free ram drops below 5 MB - which happens more than i would have thought - and it scavenges free ram to keep the wheels greased. I use this little app every day - it is most useful. Just get it.
